Activity 20. Write about your first day at work.

My first day at my first job was total madness. After class at the college running off to go get something to eat near work, it was almost my time to work. I ate as fast as I could so I would not be late. But I ended up arriving a few minutes late at work. I never ate so fast and I ran so hard that day. At least I did not scold you.

My first day at my first job was total madness. After class at the college, I ran to go get something to eat near work. It was almost time for me to start and I ate as fast as I could so I would not be late. I still ended up arriving a few minutes late, but at least I didn't get in trouble. I never ate so fast or ran so hard as I did that day.
