Hey there!
In Japanese, their sentence structure is different from ours for example we say:
I eat cake
Japanese it is
I cake eat.
This is odd to think about at first since we don’t do this. As for grammar it depends on what you want to say.
Let’s go back to my cake example. I’ll type it in the basic alphabet.
わたしはケーキをたべる。
I (particle) cake (を) goes with a direct object then eat.
は doesn’t have much of a translation and there is true translation for を.
を goes with.
Some one does something.
For example:
Someone eats something
Someone drives something
Someone watches something
Note: Japanese doesn’t usually use plurals. The, a, an, and it don’t exist either.

Summary of Japanese grammar
1)There are markers that mark the word just before the markers as the subject of sentences or as the objects of the verbs.
2)The verb is put on the last part of a sentence. Because of markers you may put the subject or the objects on any places in the sentence.
3)Suffixes are put just behind the verb. They give the meanings like negative, past, passive, ability, polite and so on to the sentence. Verbs conjugate to add these particles.
e.g.
Kare wa rajio wo kiki masen deshita
He did not listen to radio.
Kare - he
Wa - the subject marker
Rajio - radio
Wo - the object marker
Kiki - the original form is kiku(to listen )
Masen - polite negative
Deshita - polite past
