Universal values mean that “something that has same value or worth for all, or almost all, people, referring to natural rights, human dignity, equality and freedom.” I believe that these values can be accepted as universal values because these values are an essential part of human rights. Also I think that these values such as participation, competition, liberty, and cooperation, which are inherent in democracy guaranteed through democracy, specifically liberal democracy, because the power of democracy is granted by voting and elections, meaning that citizens are able to secure their rights and unable to centralize through competition.
